This event first seen in C2 at 02:30 UT as a slow oblong extensive front along the SouthWest quadrant and covering the South Pole region. The event developed to a wide loop LE at PA 110-272 degrees. The event was first seen in C3 beginning at 04:18 UT and was tracked to 19Rs by 15:00. The plane-of-sky speed was averaged through both fields of view to 301 km/sec at PA 213 degrees with acceleration through C3. EIT sees an eruptive filament start at 21:48 UT on 2002/02/13 on disk in the SouthWest with southward projection. Filament location centered at [S29; W28] just East of the transition area of AR9819.
