From plunkett@kreutz.nascom.nasa.gov Mon Jun 12 17:55:40 2000 Date: Mon, 12 Jun 2000 17:20:00 +0000 (GMT) Subject: Halo CME on 2000/06/10 LASCO and EIT observed a full halo CME on 2000/06/10. The event was first visible in C2 at 17:08 UT as a bright front over the NW limb, and later extended over all position angles. The plane-of-sky speed was 1000 km/s at PA 290 (NW limb). The CME was probably associated with a M5.2 flare in AR 9026 (N22 W37) that was observed by EIT observed at 16:48 UT. Images and movies of this event will be available soon at the LASCO ftp server: ftp://ares.nrl.navy.mil/pub/lasco/halo/20000610.
